The National Weather Service says a tornado in Culpeper County injured several people, overturned two structures and ripped up many trees on Sunday night.
The Weather Service provided its ground survey of a tornado that touched down in the Rixeyville area of the county. They say the tornado rated EF-1 and generated winds that peaked at 95 mph. It traveled almost 5 miles and cut a path as wide as 100 yards.
