Due to forecasted inclement weather conditions, all Spotsylvania County Public Schools will open two hours late on Friday, August 9, officials announced Thursday evening.
Friday is Transition Day for the county’s kindergartners, sixth graders, and ninth graders.
The 4-year-old Early Childhood Special Education PM program will start as scheduled at 12:30 p.m. All 12-month employees and essential employees should report to work on time. All other employees report two hours late.
