A split weekend of weather lies ahead for the Fredericksburg region.
- Warm and humid Friday and Saturday
- Numerous rounds of showers Sunday
- Additional rain early next week
Friday and Saturday will have similar feels to the last few days — warm and moderately humid with some occasional gusty breezes from the southwest.
Showers are expected to develop late Saturday afternoon and continue into the night, then several rounds of rain return on Sunday. While it may not rain all day on Sunday, it will certainly be the wetter of the two days this weekend.
A slow-moving system will bring additional spells of rain on Monday and Tuesday before dry and seasonable conditions return for the middle of next week.
