Robbie Reeves, 33, passed away peacefully after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer on May 25, 2025, at his home, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, in 1991 while his father served in the Navy, Robbie lived a life rich in experience, joy, and adventure. The son of Bob and Stephanie Reeves, his early years were spent traveling the world, including time in Guam.
Since childhood, Robbie was happiest in nature, whether hiking wooded trails, biking, playing disc golf, fishing, or soaking in the salty breeze of his favorite place on earth, Frisco Beach. It was there, alongside his kids, wife, and dogs, that he found his truest peace and happiness. He had a wild, creative spirit. Robbie was a gifted glassblower, an avid skateboarder, and a passionate grower with a deep love for botany and greens.
To Robbie, friends were family. He never met a stranger, and those lucky enough to know him remember his boundless smile, his infectious energy, and his unwavering kindness. He was always “cheesing” – unapologetically himself to the end.
Robbie is survived by his soulmate, Ashley Reeves; his children, Khloii and Eli Reeves; his parents, Bob and Stephanie Reeves; his sister, Ashley Ruiz (Gerson); his nieces, Lydia and Evelyn, and many other loving extended family and friends.
Though his time here was far too short, Robbie lived with a fullness many never reach. His family takes deep pride in the man he became and the joy he spread in just 33 years.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 10719 Courthouse Rd., Fredericksburg. A celebration of Robbie’s life, with an opportunity to share memories, will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests spending a day outside in Robbie’s honor – hiking, fishing, gardening, or just smiling at the sun.
