Original story: Parts of Fredericksburg’s Central Park are without power, and all lanes of Interstate 95 are currently closed due to power lines in the highway.
According to an emergency notification from the City of Fredericksburg, the downed lines are located at the 130.2 mile marker on 95, and power is out near the entrance ramps.
A post from VDOT’s Fredericksburg District advises motorists to “expect major delays due to stopped traffic and use alternate routes.”
The city’s notification advises residents to avoid the area until the issue is resolved.
