Fast forecast

  • Brief easing of humidity Friday
  • Sunshine, hotter Saturday
  • Hot and humid Sunday into next week

The chance of showers and thunderstorms has dried up for the next several days, with minimal chances of rain until at least the middle of next week.

Friday brings a short-lived break in humidity as temperatures hold in the 80s, then heat will begin to build on Saturday with an afternoon in the 90s.

Hot and humid Sunday through next week with afternoons in the upper 90s. Heat indices near 105 next week, raising the red flag for heat-related illnesses. Remember to recognize the symptoms of heat exhaustion — dizziness, nausea, weakness — before it worsens into heat stroke.

Normal temperatures next week:

Highs: Upper 80s
Lows: Mid 60s
