Turning less humid later next week
Although Friday and the weekend will not be as hot as the previous few days, it will remain humid with afternoons reaching into the 90s. Each afternoon and evening through Sunday bring scattered showers and thunderstorms, so be ready to dodge a few of them if heading to the Spotsylvania County Stars & Stripes Spectacular on Saturday evening.
Not much significant change in the weather pattern early next week, with afternoons in the low 90s and scattered thunderstorms returning. However, an additional break in the heat and humidity is expected for Wednesday and the second half of next week, cutting back the chance for showers and thunderstorms for a few days.
