This weekend, Fredericksburg honors the 80th anniversary of WWII’s end with Victory & Valor, a tribute to courage, community, and history.
Kick things off Friday night with a USO Dance at the historic Dorothy Hart Center—once a real WWII USO building. Live big band music, vintage radio shows, and swing dancing that’ll transport you straight to the 1940s.
Saturday’s Open House is free and family-friendly, featuring military vehicles, WWII artifacts, Victory Garden demos, and even service dogs from Leashes of Valor.
Don’t miss the Enduring Freedom Honor Team concert and a taste of wartime gingerbread from Kenmore’s kitchens.
Plus, give back at the blood drive hosted by Inova.
All events take place at the Dorothy Hart Center on Canal Street.
