Historic Fredericksburg Foundation hosted a “Victory & Valor” open house Saturday, offering the community a glimpse into the courage and sacrifice shown during World War II. Held in the original USO building—now the Dorothy Hart Community Center—the event included a blood drive, period music from Fredericksburg Christian School’s Enduring Freedom Honor Team, and recognition of World War II Navy veteran Richard Toye.
