Genevieve “Bea Bea” Iden Yowell, 93, of Stafford County passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Falls Run Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Berryville, Va., on September 17, 1931.
Genevieve attended church regularly and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was known as being ‘Grandma’ Yowell to many she had met.
Genevieve is survived by her daughters, Vickey (Candy) Nash of Spotsylvania County, and Ada Darlene Jenkins and husband Kelvin of Spotsylvania; grandsons, David L. Pace and Christopher Nash; granddaughter, Christina M. Maley (Shane); three great-grandchildren, Stephanie Boone, Benny Jones and Jenna Newman;
three great-great-grandchildren, Preston Boone, Artemis Newman and Paisley Jones; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil E. Yowell; her parents, Howard and Ada Crim; five sisters, Elizabeth Dent, Matilda Louise McGuinn, Gladys Willis, Mildred Littleton, and Helen Keiter; two brothers, Howard Crim Jr. and Robert Crim; son, Keith I. Yowell; and granddaughter, Kelli R. Jenkins.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, where the funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Alanna McGuinn officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Ivy Hill Cemetery, 8584 John S. Mosby Highway, Upperville, VA 20184.
