2025 Voter Guide: King George County

by | Sep 4, 2025 | ALLFFP, Education, Government, King George, Politics & Elections

This fall, many of King George County’s nearly 20,000 registered voters will head to the polls to vote on two school board and two board of supervisors seats. Out of the four races, three are uncontested. County voters will also help decide the winner of the 67th District House of Delegates seat, as the county makes up nearly 30% of the district.

Statewide races for governor, lieutenant governor, and attorney general are also on the ballot. Here’s what to expect.

Unless specified, the links you see below will take you to the candidate’s profile on the Virginia Public Access project, which has information about campaign finances and more. Where the Free Press has reported on a candidate or race, you’ll also see a link to our content inviting you to “read more.”

We’ll update this guide continuously as election day draws closer.

Pause.

Before reading further, check out this link to view the five district maps in the county. Your district determines which set of school board and board of supervisors candidates will appear on your ballot.

The county also has a portal that allows you to type in your address to find your polling location.  We checked it, and it works! (And, while you’re at it, visit the Virginia Department of Elections citizen portal to check your voter registration status.)

OK, now onto the candidates.
