- A project is proposed in the Thornburg area of Spotsylvania that could include about 1 million square feet of data center buildings on about 50 acres of heavily wooded land between U.S. 1 and Interstate 95 off South Roxbury Mill Road (across I-95 from Dominion Raceway). The proposed project is just south of about 124 acres that have already been approved for about 1.6 million square feet of data center buildings. A rezoning is required for the supplemental project, which would be integrated into the original project.
- A project is also proposed in the Thornburg area that could bring a warehouse development to a site just south of Mudd Tavern Road and north of the under-construction Kalahari project (the proposed site is owned by The Vakos Companies, and the proposed developer is Flint Development).
