To help those impacted by the ongoing federal government shutdown, a pop-up drive-through produce distribution will be held Friday, October 10, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Stafford County campus of Germanna Community College, located at 25 Center Street.
The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank says the event aims to provide support to furloughed federal employees and contractors, though anyone in need is welcome to receive fresh produce. The distribution will take place in the campus parking lot and is designed for quick, easy access for those seeking assistance.
