“Upcycled Ghost Art” is a seasonal community art show featuring family-friendly, ghost-themed works made from repurposed and recycled materials. Artists were asked to find a non-valuable piece of artwork, photograph or painting from a thrift store or their home and paint ghosts on it. The fun and hauntingly eclectic exhibit will remain on view through Nov. 2 during regular Visitor Center hours (601 Caroline Street). Admission is free.
“These upcycled ghosts prove that even traditional thrifted items can take on a spirited, creative twist,” said Danelle Rose, Tourism Marketing and Communications Manager. “It’s a fun way to celebrate the season that’s both boo-tiful and sustainable.”
