Biggest harvest yet at Rappahannock Education Farm in White Oak!
Volunteers picked more than 1,600 pounds of fresh vegetables on Saturday — including 330 pounds of tomatoes, 125 pounds of butternut squash, and plenty of cucumbers and zucchini. Rich Larochelle says that brings the 2025 total to nearly 19,000 pounds of produce grown and donated to fight food insecurity across the region.
Saturday’s harvest was delivered to service members and military families at Marine Corps Base Quantico, distributed through the USO.
