WATCH: Fredericksburg Salvation Army seeks space for Toyland

The Fredericksburg Salvation Army is looking for space to house its annual Toyland program this Christmas.

Captain Mumford says they need at least 22,000 square feet of heated retail space to process and distribute toys and gifts for more than 1,000 children and seniors in the community. The space must also include bathrooms, parking, and a roadway that allows parents to safely pick up their packages

Each year, Toyland provides local families with new toys, clothing, and other gifts to help make the holidays brighter. The Salvation Army hopes to secure a location soon so volunteers can begin sorting and organizing donations, with a deadline of this Friday to find a site.

Anyone with available space or questions can contact the Fredericksburg Salvation Army at 540-373-3431.
