Leashes of Valor, a Spotsylvania-based nonprofit that provides trained service dogs to post-9/11 veterans at no cost, will celebrate Graduation Day this Saturday.
Five more warriors will officially receive their dogs after years of training and several weeks living locally with foster families to build a strong bond. The ceremony is free and open to the public, beginning at noon at 8407 Old Plank Road.
