The University of Mary Washington’s popular Great Lives lecture series returns on January 20. UMW’s Scott Harris, who directs the program, says the 2026 lineup will once again feature historians, authors, and scholars exploring the lives of remarkable figures from history and today.
Lectures will be held nearly every Tuesday and Thursday through the spring semester, offering free admission to the public at Dodd Auditorium. The full schedule and speaker list are available at umw.edu/greatlives
