Volunteers from Enterprise—some driving hours just to pitch in—spent the day planting what will become a small orchard and berry patch. The farm has already donated more than 32,000 pounds of vegetables this year to help feed neighbors across the region.
The new plantings won’t bear fruit right away, but in a few years they’ll add a sweet boost to the farm’s mission—and to the community that keeps showing up to make it happen.
