Reindeer were ordered, dolls were crafted, and supplies were gathered long before anyone passing by had a hint of what was coming.
Prep work at Whittingham began late last week, turning the empty bays at 1021 Caroline Street into a busy workshop. By Monday, Bob, Linda Silk Sviland and Grant Gates were building the scenes piece by piece, working steadily toward the holiday reveal.
It culminated in a 6 p.m. Thanksgiving unveiling, when the windows finally came to life for the public. Thank you to Bob, Linda and Grant for generously giving us access throughout the process.
