Gov. Youngkin on Tuesday joined state, local, and federal officials for the opening of the Puller Veterans Care Center in Warrenton, a new 128-bed state facility serving veterans who need long-term care, memory care, or short-term rehabilitation.
The center, built on the former Vint Hill Farms Station site, uses a household-style design with private rooms and shared living spaces.
State officials said the facility will expand access to veterans care in Northern Virginia and across the Commonwealth. The center is named for the Puller family, whose military service and legislative advocacy have played a prominent role in Virginia’s veterans programs.
