University of Mary Washington men’s basketball coach Marcus Kahn reached a rare milestone Saturday, earning the 400th collegiate coaching victory of his career as the Eagles defeated Regent University 84-58 at Ron Rosner Arena.
Kahn is just the 31st active head coach among more than 400 in NCAA Division III to surpass 400 career wins, a mark achieved in coaching stops at Pitt-Greensburg, Cabrini, and Mary Washington.
Since coming to UMW twelve years ago, Kahn has guided UMW into national contention and consistent postseason success. Saturday’s victory came as sixth-ranked Mary Washington improved to 14-1 on the season.
