Closures/delays for Wednesday, Jan. 28
Stafford County
- All Stafford schools, school offices and buildings will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 28. All activities and events scheduled for Wednesday also are canceled.
- Stafford County government will have a two-hour delayed opening with telework Wednesday, with offices opening at 10 a.m.
- All Stafford courts will be closed.
- The regional landfill and Belman Road recycling will be on a two-hour delay.
- Stafford also has postponed the public listening session on the proposed North Anna-Kraken Loop electric transmission project, scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 29. The county will announce a new meeting date and time at a later time.
Fredericksburg
- All Fredericksburg City schools and facilities will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 28, due to road, parking lot, and sidewalk conditions, as well as low temperatures. Essential employees will only report following supervisor guidance.
- Circuit Court will operate on a normal schedule. General District and J&DR are closed. Trash and recycling will be canceled. FXBGO! will operate on a limited schedule. Route 10 and 11 will run from 10am -3pm only.
