Triple A says gas prices are climbing across Virginia, with the statewide average now $3.10 a gallon, up 28 cents from last week as rising crude oil prices and seasonal demand push costs higher.
In Fredericksburg, drivers are paying about $3.27 a gallon, a 42-cent jump in just one week and higher than the $2.78 average this time last year. The national average currently stands at $3.25 per gallon.
