The Eagles earned their second Elite Eight appearance in school history with a gritty 73-68 victory over the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse last Saturday. Robinson delivered with 35 points and 11 rebounds, including two clutch 3-pointers in the final minutes. UMW is looking to advance to the Final Four for the first time.
Chicago pulled out a 93-92 nail-biter over Gustavus Adolphus in the Sweet 16. The Phoenix overcame a 40-point effort from GA’s Myles Barnette with a balanced attack, led by Regan’s 21 points. Five players scored in double-figures for the Phoenix, including Cochran and Kenah with 18 apiece.
