Spotsylvania Fire, Rescue and Emergency Management says department members are in Wisconsin to finalize the inspection of Tower 6–“a cutting-edge fire apparatus that will soon replace our current ladder truck.” In a Facebook post say they the new tower has superior maneuverability for navigating challenging spaces and carries more ground ladders, giving crews a significant advantage on incident scenes. “This vital upgrade is the culmination of extensive planning and dedication from our department’s members and leadership.”
