Each candle represents a soldier buried in the cemetery and honors those who died in the service of this country. “Taps” is played every 30 minutes from 8-11. Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park staff will be at various spots to tell stories and answer questions.
The luminaria is free.
