Fast forecast
- Warm and more humid, but with Sunday rain
- Scattered showers, storms Saturday
- Wetter Sunday with a few hours of rain
Cooler nights are likely gone for the summer. Friday and Saturday will both be warm and a bit humid with temperatures well into the 80s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected on Saturday afternoon and evening, but Sunday will be the wetter day this weekend.
Rain falls for a few hours on Sunday, most likely during the afternoon, and adding up to about a half-inch, making Saturday the better day to be outside, especially if attending the Fredericksburg Greek Festival this weekend.
After the Sunday rain, the next chance of rain comes on Tuesday, and now that June has started, chilly nights are probably gone for the season, with low temperatures in the 60s for at least the next ten days.
Normal temperatures next week:
Highs: Low 80s
Lows: Low 60s
