Fast forecast
-
Seasonably hot and humid
-
Storms more scattered in nature
-
Potential drying later next week
High humidity continues this weekend, which also brings the ongoing chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. However, compared to the last few days, the chance is down for both Saturday and Sunday, meaning the storms will be more scattered in nature, and there will be more misses than hits across the Fredericksburg region.
There are signs of a drier period developing for next week and possibly the weekend of the 19th, and temperatures are not expected to stray too far from normal — so no oppressive heatwave is in the forecast through next weekend. Afternoons continue near 90 with nights near 70.
Normal temperatures next week:
Highs: Upper 80s
Lows: Upper 60s
