25 volunteers came out to the Rappahannock Education Farm in White Oak Saturday morning and planted 2,500 collard seedlings!
Organizer Rich Larochelle says this marks the start of the farm’s cold-weather crops—collards, kale, cabbage, and broccoli—all destined for local agencies working to reduce hunger in our region.
There are plenty of volunteer opportunities coming up this week. If you’d like to help, email [email protected]
