Stafford County Fire and Rescue will host its annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb this Sunday at Virginia Credit Union Stadium, home of the FredNats.
The event begins at 8:00 a.m. and invites participants of all ages to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, by climbing stadium stairs or walking the concourse path in tribute.
The fundraiser supports the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which provides mortgage-free homes to Gold Star families and injured first responders, and works to end veteran homelessness while preserving the memory of 9/11.
Organizers emphasize accessibility, offering both stair and walking options to accommodate all fitness levels.
