Spotsylvania NAACP hosting two upcoming candidate forums

The Spotsylvania County branch of the NAACP will host a candidate forum for the county’s board of supervisors and school board from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Sept. 29 at the Salem Church Library.

A total of 15 candidates are vying for seats as elected officials in the county.

The Spotsylvania NAACP is also hosting a forum for state office candidates on Oct. 13 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the same location.

The forums are co-sponsored by the John J. Wright Educational and Cultural Center, the Spotsylvania Education Association and the Fredericksburg Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
