The King George County Sheriff’s Office is showing its support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month by wearing pink throughout October. Deputies will wear pink badges, and civilian staff will display pink pins as a visible show of solidarity.
A Facebook posting says the initiative honors survivors, remembers those lost, and encourages early detection through awareness. Officials say it’s a way to stand with the community and promote life-saving conversations about breast health. The office joins law enforcement agencies nationwide in supporting the fight against breast cancer.
