Support for Windows 10 officially ends October 14. After that, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates, patches, or technical assistance, leaving systems exposed to serious security risks. Dave the Computer Guy with Techs in the Burg says this is the final call for users to take action—either upgrade to the next version of Windows or switch to another operating system.
Dave says Microsoft is offering an optional extended security update program that lets users sign up for critical updates for one more year, but he says, it’s only a temporary fix.
