Fredericksburg locked in its Christmas Parade preparations Thursday, posting No Parking signs throughout the downtown route to clear the way for Saturday’s crowds.
The parade begins Saturday at 5:30 p.m., and parking restrictions on the route—and on several nearby side streets—take effect at 2 p.m.
City officials say drivers need to pay close attention to all posted signs to avoid towing and ensure the route stays clear.
