Orange County deputies are investigating the illegal dumping of approximately 110 tires along Route 33 near Horton Vineyards. Investigators say a white pickup truck, possibly a Chevrolet or GMC, pulling a black trailer—possibly a fifth-wheel—with a refrigerator on it was seen in a nearby driveway between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Dec. 26.
Authorities believe the vehicle’s occupants are responsible for the dumping. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Orange County Sheriff’s Office at 540-672-1234 and ask for Deputy Hanback, or submit tips anonymously through the P3 Reporting System.
