Electric cooperative foundation announces $1,500 scholarships for 2026 graduates

Applicants must have a parent or guardian whose primary residence receives electricity from one of the 16 co-ops served by VMDAEC, including Rappahannock Electric Cooperative. Since 2003, the foundation has awarded over $1.1 million to more than 1,250 students across the tri-state area.

Scholarship funds may be used for tuition, fees, room and board, or textbooks. Applications are due March 20, 2026; more information is available at vmdaec.com/scholarshipfoundation.
