The Fredericksburg Nationals announced their 2026 Opening Day roster Tuesday, and the list includes some familiar faces.
There are 14 players that appeared in at least one game for the FredNats in previous seasons. There are also eight of the Nationals’ top 30 prospects, including four in the top 10. The roster features two of the top 12 picks in the 2025 Major League Baseball Draft in infielder Eli Willits (No. 1 overall) and infielder/outfielder Gavin Fien (No. 12 overall).
Fredericksburg begins the 2026 campaign Friday at home against the Augusta GreenJackets. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
