During his career, Gari Melchers was commissioned to paint historic scenes for public murals and civic buildings across the country. The new exhibit features many of the artist’s early studies and preliminary versions of those works, offering visitors a rare glimpse into the creative process—from rough concepts to finished historical paintings.
The exhibition is on display at the Pavilion at Belmont.
