Fredericksburg Region Closings and Delays for January 26

Closings, delays and special schedules in the Fredericksburg region for Tuesday, January 26, 2016. The list is in alphabetical order.

Caroline County Public Schools (Virginia) are closed Tuesday, January 26, 2016. Twelve-month employees are Code 3.

Central Rappahannock Regional Library (CRR)L branches regularly scheduled to open at 9 a.m. will open at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 26.

City of Fredericksburg offices will open two hours late January 26. All essential personnel must report as directed by their supervisors.

Dorothy Hart Community Center will be open 10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. January 26.

Federal Offices in the D.C. area are closed. Emergency and telework-ready employees required to work must follow their agency’s policies, including written telework agreements.

Fredericksburg General District Court will open on-time Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016. Court personnel are to report as directed by their supervisor.

Fredericksburg Parks & Recreation has cancelled all activities for January 26, 2016.

Fredericksburg Public Schools are closed. Code Red for staff.

FRED Transit is closed on Tuesday, Jan. 26, “due to unsafe road conditions within our service area. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.”

Germanna Community College locations will open at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 26. “As always, students and employees should use their own judgment if they consider road conditions in their area unsafe and notify their professor or supervisor,” said Michael Zitz, director of Media & Community Relations.

King George County Schools will be closed Tuesday. Twelve month employees code 3. Report at 10 a.m.

Spotsylvania County Public Schools are closed on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016. 12-month employees are Code 0.

Spotsylvania County government offices will open on time Tuesday, Jan. 26, with a liberal leave policy in effect for staff.

Spotsylvania County convenience centers and the Livingston Landfill will open on time Tuesday, Jan. 26.

Stafford County Schools are closed Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016. Code 1 for employees. All schools and offices are closed and all activities and practices are cancelled. A communication regarding exam schedules and potential calendar adjustments will be issued on Wednesday morning.

Stafford County School Board Meeting scheduled for Tuesday evening is cancelled.

St. George’s Episcopal Church Fredericksburg will be open, but The Table market-style food pantry will be closed January 26.

University of Mary Washington is closed on January 26.
