Balmes-John says they continue to see an increase in the number of new positive test results received each day. “In small part this increase could be attributed to an increase in testing availability in the area, but it does also reflect the continued spread of the virus throughout the community. With this in mind, it continues to be of the utmost importance that all community members stay home as much as possible.” She says when you must go out to complete activities such as purchasing food or going to work, we should should practice social distancing by staying at least 6 feet away from others, wear a cloth mask over their nose and mouth, and frequently wash hands or use hand sanitizer.
