Northern Neck Electric Cooperative names IT manager

From Northern Neck Electric Cooperative:

Northern Neck Electric Cooperative (NNEC) promoted Ryan Barrack to Manager, Information Technology.

Barrack will be responsible for spearheading NNEC’s efforts to streamline information systems operations and the protection of the co-op’s cybersecurity.

In his position as IT Specialist, Barrack has been instrumental in maintaining and improving NNEC’s information systems, which are critical to the mission of the co-op. Throughout the last year, he was instrumental in moving NNEC’s workforce to more virtual platforms allowing work-from-home for an essential industry.

Barrack brings with him sixteen years of experience in information systems management, of which nearly four were with NNEC. He holds an associate degree in Computer Electronics Engineering Technology from ECPI Technical College.

Barrack is also a firefighter at Upper Lancaster Volunteer Fire Department and a Deacon at Rappahannock Church of Christ. He is a native of Robley, Virginia. He and his wife, Lauren, have a son (Graysen) and reside in Lancaster, Virginia.
