by | Jun 29, 2021 | Police and Fire

Stafford Fire and Rescue says one person was taken to the hospital after townhouses were damaged by fire Monday afternoon.  A news release says crews arrived within three minutes of a blaze reported in townhouses in the 400 block of Potomac Hills Drive.

The fire damage made one structure unstable, prompting more crews to be called to the scene. Crews had the fire under control in about 30 minutes.

One person was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

Stafford firefighters were assisted by crews from Quantico, Prince William County and Fredericksburg.  The Stafford Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
