The second annual Dancing with the Fredericksburg Stars will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, at Dodd Auditorium on the University of Mary Washington (UMW) campus.
The University of Mary Washington Jazz Ensemble will play a benefit concert on Saturday, Nov. 8, followed by an informal jam session open to all musicians in the audience.
Net proceeds from the event, called Jazz 4 Justice©, will benefit the UMW Jazz Ensemble and Rappahannock Legal Services, an area nonprofit that provides civil legal assistance. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in Dodd Auditorium on UMW’s main Fredericksburg campus.
The CUE Center for Missing Persons will stop in Fredericksburg on October 11 as part of their 11th Annual “On the Road to Remember” missing persons tour. The group will host a rally from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Business Park Complex, 4107 Plank Rd., to highlight missing persons cases. More Information
Downtown Fredericksburg’s annual Holiday Open House is scheduled Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 8 and 9, 2014.
