AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT!

The job market at CCT is booming, as we have positions to fill for the cast of our final show of the 2025-2026 season: 9 To 5. Virtual auditions will be accepted for a limited time, check out our website for detailed information regarding virtual and in-person auditions. Caroline Community Theatre

WHEN:

February 23rd & 24th, 6:30pm – 8:30 pm

Callbacks will be held as needed on March 2nd, 6:30pm – 8:30 pm

WHAT TO EXPECT:

-Bring a song

Please be prepared to sing for 60 – 90 seconds as part of your audition.

Selected songs should be in the style of the show: if you need inspiration, https://musicaltheatreresources.com is an excellent place to start! If you would like to have musical accompaniment, our technical director will be available to help you select an instrumental track from YouTube before you take the stage.

-Cold reads

The second part of your audition will consist of a cold read from a selection of monologues, depending on the role you are auditioning for. No advance prep needed!

-Dancing

Please wear comfortable clothing for light movement, as we will be doing a movement test with a little bit of basic choreography.

-Virtual auditions

If you are submitting a virtual audition, please send a video of yourself to artisticdirector@carolinetheatre.org that includes the following: an introduction, 60 – 90 seconds of singing, and 30 – 60 seconds of a prepared monologue in the style of the character you’d most like to be considered for.
