Pitch Hit & Run—Major League Baseball’s free event for boys and girls ages 7-14—will be held at Virginia Credit Union Stadium, 42 Jackie Robinson Way, in Fredericksburg on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 4 to 9 p.m.

Area baseball and softball players may come anytime on June 14 to showcase their skills on the  field at the home of the Fredericksburg Nationals. A birth certificate or other proof of age is required at check-in.

PH&R participants are divided into four age groups and will pitch to a strike zone target, hit off a batting T for distance and run their fastest to first base.

Age-group winners may earn the chance to compete at Washington Nationals Park this summer and ultimately at the MLB World Series. For general information, go to www.mlb.com/pitch-hit-and-run.
