Have you ever wondered how a cherished doll can be brought back to life for a new child to love? Joy Doll Restoration Day is your chance to be part of that transformation.
Join the Fredericksburg community for a hands-on volunteer event restoring American Girl dolls that will be gifted to children in crisis in 2026 locally, nationally and internationally.
📅Saturday, March 28, from 10 AM–6 PM
📍American Legion Post 55
Ages: 14 to adult
This immersive experience includes:
- Cleaning and refreshing dolls
- Washing and styling hair
- Sewing and repairs
- Restringing and shaping dolls
- Assembling gift boxes
This event is perfect for anyone who enjoys hands-on work—especially hairstylists, crafters, and doll lovers looking to give back in a meaningful way.
