On Saturday, May 3, 2025, local Democratic committees and grassroots organizations will host a peaceful “May Day” rally in the city of Fredericksburg from 10am-noon at the corner of William Street and Route 3.

Building on the recent Hands Off! protest that drew over 800 people from across the Rappahannock region, “May Day” is part of a nationwide mobilization to highlight the attack on the working class by the Trump administration and his billionaire allies.

Community members will demand that our country put families over fortunes so that every family has fair wages, lower costs, affordable housing and healthcare, and union protections.
