Make a piggy bank with personality.

The Big Oink contest is hosted by Chancellor Lions Club Charities in partnership with Carter Bank & Trust.

Youth from kindergarten through 12th grade as well as adults are urged to participate. Banks do not have to be in the shape of a pig. Finished banks should be no larger than 12″ x 12″ x 12″. You may use any materials you like.

Prizes for each age group are $40 for first-place, $30 for second and $25 for third.The Chancellor Lions Club will double the prize if you open a savings account with Carter Bank & Trust within 30 days of winning.

Banks are due March 23 from 10 a.m.-noon at the Spotsylvania Towne Centre food court. Banks will be displayed at the mall March 23-24 and must be picked up March 24 from 4-6 p.m. or be thrown away.
