Fredericksburg Deputy Superintendent Matt Eberhardt tells the City School Board that students in all grades along with staff and visitors will be required to wear masks when school opens.

The Caroline County School Board voted 3-2 Monday night to require masks for all Pre-Kindergarten through fifth grade students, staff and visitors, regardless of vaccination status, when inside Caroline elementary buildings.

Spotsylvania School Superintendent Dr. Scott Baker talks to the school board about limited options. Because of a lack of local and state funding, Spotsylvania will not be able to offer any virtual learning options.

The Spotsylvania School Board voted 6-1 Monday night to allow parents to fill out a form to opt their children out of wearing masks in schools. Masks will be required on school buses. That’s a federal regulation.
